The AMD mobile platform yukon will combine the single core 65 NM processors huron, integrated chipset AMD radeon x1250 (M690T) and optional discrete graphical solution mobility radeon HD 3410. The processor and chipset TDP level will not exceed 25 W, but the cost of their union can be low : only $20.

AMD does not desire to develop notebooks in their present form, but it prefers to create components for inexpensive light and thin mini- notebooks with the developed functional possibilities, which up to the present moment are present in the sufficiently expensive segment. Today the company announced the processors athlon neo, known earlier under the code designation huron. They are released on 65 NM technology, they have one core and 512 K cache in the second level, the default frequency is equal to 1.6 GHz, but the TDP level does not exceed 15 W. The chipset and discrete video card consume not more than 35 W. The dual core processors conesus will appear in the second half-year.

HP pavilion dv 2  is the concrete example of future AMD mini- notebook . This notebook with 12.1 inches screen and weighs not more than 1,8 kg, its thickness does not exceed 23 mm. The functional possibilities of this notebook are completely sufficient: it supports directX 10.1, Windows vista and 1080p video playback  . In the base configuration, the notebook has 1 GB memory and HDD with 320 GB volume, but easily can accept 500 GB HDD.

Sales will begin in the second quarter from $699 to $899. This almost two times cheaper than analogous in thickness and weight notebook from distinguished producers.

The video cards GeForce GTX 285 and GeForce GTX 295, according to some information, had to appear in 9 January, during CES 2009 exhibition. However, According to associate the announcement periods were delayed.

NVIDIA allows partners to release video card with their own design, using the graphic processors GT200/GT200b. Today appeared the first printed-circuit board . The first producer of non reference GeForce GTX 260 was Galaxy.

Thus, here is the printed-circuit board:

Two six-pin power connector is placed on the edge of printed-circuit board, the power-supply system, 4 + 1, was placed more strictly, and it is compact. Fourteen memory microcircuits, which form 896 Mb volume and the 448 bits memory bus , were placed on one card side , in a semicircle near the graphic processor, which resembles to the arrangement of GeForce 9800 GTX+.

Besides the design, the new card differed from the standard GeForce GTX 260 in terms of clock frequencies, which were increased from typical 576/1242/1998 MHz to 625/1350/2100 MHz . This video card use GDDR3 memory from Samsung production with access time 1.0 ns.

The utilized graphic processor : GT200b, has the marking G200-103- B2, which indicates the use of 55 NM technological processes. Note the chip revision B2, instead of B3 in the two-chip GeForce GTX 295. Probably, this revision was completely operational, it was not characterized by moderate heat emission, and therefore it could not be used for the production Of GeForce GTX 295. The production date is the 36 week 2008, which corresponds to the last week of August. This again confirms rumors about NVIDIA which had available working models graphic processors GT200b still in summer.

Lexar media company  reported about new memory modules sets : crucial ballistix DDR 3-1333 (PC 3-10600) and DDR 3-1600 (PC 3-12800) , intended for triple-channel configurations. They are designed for Intel core i7 processors systems   .

Those memory collections are accessible in two versions :  3 and 6 GB.

Under the stamp ballistix lexar media company release products, oriented to high performance systems, in particular gaming PC. The modules, entering in those collections, support the technology Intel extreme memory profiles (XMP), allowing access to the previously configured profiles .
